(250 1/m) of clear, clean quality drinking water
(with < 5 N.T.U turbidity, 5 HU units of
colour).
- The
Model 52L will disinfect cooling tower water,
control Legionella pneumophila bacteria and
also reduce algae growth with some hydrogen
peroxide residual. Model 52L will disinfect
hydrotherapy, swimming and spa pool water in
conjunction with an oxidant residual.

The principal
uses for the Model 52 series are to disinfect:

effluent (of <20 suspended solids, <20
BOD, 50% UVT quality)

thus controlling Legionella pneumophila and
total plate count in the tower water
- aquarium, fish hatchery
and acquaculture water
- swimming, hydrotherapy
and spa pool water
- process water
For disinfection of
drinking water with <5 NTU turbidity, 5 HU
units of colour the maximum flow rate through
one model 52L is 4.16 litres/sec.
