Model 100L will disinfect up to 8 litres/sec.
(480 1/m) of clean, clear quality drinking water
(with < 5 N.T.U turbidity, 5 HU units of
colour) or 4 litres/sec. for effluent disinfection.
- The
Model 100L will disinfect cooling tower water,
control Legionella pneumophila bacteria and
also reduce algae growth with some Hydrogen
Peroxide addition.
- Model
100L will disinfect hydrotherapy, swimming and
spa pool water in conjunction with an oxidant
residual.

100M
- The
Model 100M will disinfect up to 8 litres/sec.
(480 1/m) of clear, clean water. UV transmission

(360 1/m) of clear, clean water.

The principal
uses for the Model 100 series are to disinfect:
- drinking water (with
< 5 N.T.U turbidity, 5 HU units of colour)
- secondary treated
effluent (of <20 suspended solids, <20
BOD, >50% UVT quality)
- cooling tower ponds,
thus controlling Legionella pneumophila and
plate count in the tower water
- aquarium, fish hatchery
and acquaculture water
- swimming, hydrotherapy
and spa pool water
- process water
For disinfection of
drinking water with <5 NTU turbidity, 5 HU
units of colour the maximum flow rate through
one model 100L is 8 litres/sec.
